Pastry Fueled Apps is operated by Ana Sifuentes and Gabriel Ittner (collectively, "we", "us", "our"). We are the data controllers for the processing described in this policy.

Scope

This privacy policy applies to the Pastry Fueled Apps website, the Leben in Deutschland website and app, and the Cat-ching apps for Android and iOS.

Data processing in the apps

The apps operate entirely offline. They do not require an account or connect to our servers, and they do not transmit app data to us. Any data you create or enter in the apps, which may include personal data, is stored locally on your device and is not accessible to us.

The apps do not request access to device data such as contacts, location, photos, or files. They do not use analytics, advertising, tracking, telemetry, crash reporting, authentication, cloud synchronization, or other third-party services that transmit data to us.

Depending on your device settings, data stored by the apps may be included in backups created by your operating system, such as Apple iCloud Backup or Google device backup. These backups are operated by Apple or Google independently of us. We do not have access to or control over personal data contained in those backups; their processing is governed by the providers' privacy policies.

App stores

When you download or use the apps through the Apple App Store or Google Play, Apple or Google may process information such as your account, device, download, and transaction information independently of us. This processing is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy or Google's Privacy Policy, as applicable.

Website hosting

This website is a static website hosted by GitHub Pages, a service provided by GitHub, Inc. and GitHub B.V.

We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking, cookies, contact forms, or other technologies to collect personal data from website visitors.

When you visit this website, GitHub may log and store your IP address and other technical information for security purposes. Email contact

If you contact us by email, we process your email address and the information contained in your message solely to respond to your request. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in receiving, handling, and responding to inquiries, pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We use Fastmail as our email service provider. Fastmail may process this information on our behalf in accordance with its privacy policy: Fastmail Privacy Policy. We retain correspondence only for as long as necessary to handle the request and comply with legal obligations.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), the supervisory authority responsible for our establishment in Bavaria. Where you can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to your physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity.

This privacy policy may change over time as we add new features to the apps. We will post all changes on this site and update the effective date above. If a change materially affects how we process personal data, we will provide additional notice in a subsequent app update.
